Our Care Personalisation Service provides a comprehensive range of support for Personal Health Budget receivers and their Personal Assistants, enabling people to remain in the comfort of their own homes – secure in the knowledge that their staff are well trained, safe and clinically competent through Delegated Tasks.
Bespoke Clinical Training Packages
Our well established range of clinical training can be combined into bespoke packages, delivered in a person’s home, and designed specifically around the care and support plan. Recent examples of bespoke combined packages delivered include:
- PEG, catheter care, bowel care and tracheostomy management
- Ventilator support and tracheostomy management
- Insulin administration and diabetes management
Clinical Competencies for Delegated Tasks
Certificated training using manikins is just the first step in the process of ensuring clinical safety. Our well established Clinical Competency Service observes staff safely carrying out Delegated Tasks in a real world environment. Following the observations by one of our Registered Nurses, each member of staff is issued with a Competency Booklet in line with the Royal College of Nursing’s “Accountability and Delegation: A Guide for the Nursing Team” (Accountability and delegation guide | Royal College of Nursing) containing:
- Written knowledge checks
- Explanation of the tasks being delegated by our nursing team
- Written and confirmed competencies being observed
- Declarations and signatures of competency
Clinical Oversight Service
For teams who require an additional layer of nurse oversight, our Clinical Oversight Service can offer additional protections for the PHB receiver and team. This service can be fully customised based on need:
- Regular visits as agreed with the provider, receiver and team
- Additional support with training queries
- Regular updates to Competency Checks
The Clinical Oversight Service is completely bespoke to the team and elements such as duration between visits can be negotiated.

Our high quality, face to face and CPD accredited training courses are either half day or full day and can be delivered at any venue across the UK or at one of our training centres which are based in Manchester, Ellesmere Port and Colwyn Bay.
