This loss and bereavement course is ideal for all care and support workers as well as family members and members of the community.

Course Length. 3.5 hours

Introduction

Most of us will experience loss at some time in our lives.  For staff who work in social care, strong bonds are often created between staff and service user and it is likely that this experience of loss will occur more often.  This course will share some of the key models identified through studies of patterns of other people’s experiences and help individuals to understand what is normal and when to seek support.  It also helps the participant to apply this learning to work supporting colleagues or the individuals you support through the grieving process.

Course Outcomes

Successful completion of this training course will result in the award of a CPD accredited certificate covering all aspects of the above course contents.
