This Menopause in the Workplace half-day course is ideal for anyone who wishes to gain a greater understanding of the condition, its effects and UK legislation in all workplaces.

Introduction

Menopause marks the end of a woman’s menstrual cycles, typically occurring between the ages of 45 and 55.  It’s a natural phase that all women go through.  It can be accompanied by physical and emotional changes that, if not recognised, could be misunderstood and lead to potential discrimination and distress, especially in the workplace.  This course looks at the signs, symptoms and treatments as well as UK legislation affecting the rights of a person with menopause at work.

Course Outcomes
