Introduction
The Social Care Common Inspection Framework (SCCIF) is Ofsted’s inspection criteria for benchmarking a service’s offer to ensure what matters most to children and young people is being provided effectively. This SCCIF course explores how best to use the framework as a way of evaluating the provision against a wide range of criteria. Ofsted make it clear that, although the expectations of the SCCIF are broadly similar in purpose for all children and young people’s services, it is not a “one size fits all” and this course is adapted to cover discussion around the various types of services that fall under the SCCIF framework.
