Standing Up for Ethical Supply Chains: EWS Joins the Welsh Government’s Code of Practice
Ethical Workforce Solutions, we believe that ethics shouldn’t stop at the training room door — they should guide everything we do.
That’s why we’re proud to confirm that EWS has formally signed up to the Welsh Government’s Code of Practice for Ethical Employment in Supply Chains. This commitment reflects our values-led approach to workforce training, consultancy, and partnership working across health and social care in England and Wales.
The Code of Practice aims to eliminate modern slavery and unlawful employment practices across supply chains, encouraging greater transparency, fairness, and accountability in all sectors.
“Signing up was an easy decision,” said Ash Nelson, Director of EWS. “As an organisation founded on ethical principles, we’re fully behind this initiative and committed to doing our part in raising standards across the care sector — not just in training, but in how we operate at every level.”
As part of our pledge:
We’ve joined the TISC report’s list of ethical employers in Wales.
We’re encouraging our partners and suppliers to do the same.
And we’ll continue to embed ethical practice in every aspect of our delivery.
