Introduction

Neurodiversity refers to the way people think, act and respond to their environments.  There are many benefits to workplaces who embrace neurodiversity which can bring a rich, varied and creative approach to the business.  This half day course enables all staff to gain an understanding of what neurodiversity is, how to embrace inclusivity and find out about the legal framework for non-discrimination.

The legal frameworks – including the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and the Equality Act 2010
Safe, legal and effective recruitment practices
Developing neurodiversity-friendly policies and practices
Supporting neurodiversity in the workplace
Respectful terminology and language
Action steps for moving forward

Course Outcomes

Successful completion of this training course will result in the award of a CPD accredited certificate covering all aspects of the above course contents.
