Introduction

This Safeguarding Children Level 2 course is designed to build on your existing knowledge and equip you with the skills and confidence to effectively protect children and young people in your care. Aimed at those who have regular contact with children, the course explores how to recognise the signs of abuse and neglect, understand your legal and professional responsibilities, and respond appropriately to safeguarding concerns. You will develop a deeper understanding of multi-agency working, information sharing, and the importance of early intervention, ensuring that you play a proactive role in keeping children safe and promoting their wellbeing.
